Every mother thinks their children are the most beautiful in the world, but for one mom in California, it might actually be true! Jaqi Clements set up an Instagram account for her twin girls, Leah Rose and Ava Marie, and they now have over 193,000 followers.
“I presented my idea to the girls that if they were up for it, in addition to their dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could give modeling a try,” Jaqi revealed. “I was not surprised at all when they started jumping up and down and couldn’t wait to begin.”
So far the girls are loving it, keeping busy with six modeling gigs in the week before Christmas alone! This isn’t the first time the Clements twins have been signed to a modeling agency. Jaqi previously signed them up when they were just six months old, but decided the timing wasn’t right. It was when the twins turned seven on 7/7/17, that Jaqi saw it as a sign to try again.
Jaqi explained, “Aside from the fact that I’m a huge believer in signs and have been told by almost everyone that 7 is a lucky number, I just had a feeling that this year was going to be a fun and exciting year for them.”
“They finally had a personality of their own. They loved to perform their dance routines in front of an audience, any audience. They loved to be the center of attention.”
It turns out Leah Rose and Ava Marie weren’t the only members of the Clements family ready to professionally model. The twins have an older brother named Chase Robert who was also signed to the same modeling agencies as the girls.
Jaqi set up an Instagram account for her son, too, but Chase Robert has a much more modest following of just over 2000. Nevertheless, it has made modeling a Clements family affair. Even mom Jaqi occasionally posts pictures of herself posing with her children on their accounts.
Now Leah Rose and Ava Marie are being mentioned alongside other famous child models such as six-year-old Anastasia Knyazeva who has posed for numerous campaigns and has over 500,000 Instagram followers.
The Clements twins are also being compared to 16-year-old French model Thylane Blondeau. She was also declared the most beautiful girl in the world when she was just six years old and became the youngest model to ever appear in French Vogue.
What do you think? Are the girls simply being set up for a successful and happy career, or is the whole thing just a little creepy, rather than cute?
