15 Reasons why men leave the women they love

When two people are in love, it is only natural that they would want to be with each other and want what is best for each other. However, when a relationship begins, things are very different and only time will tell if the two of you have what it takes to be in the relationship. After a point, the two people in a relationship will start to see each other’s true colors and if you don’t work things out, things could go sour.

Here are some 15 reasons why men possibly leave the women they love:

15 Condescension

No one wants to be spoken to in a disrespectful and condescending way and it is the worst way to try and make a point. Some people try and take control of their relationship by talking down to one another but this will only make the relationship breakup sooner rather than later.

14 The sex is just not there

Sex is an important aspect of most relationships and sometimes it just is not there. This does not mean that the two people do not care for each other but it could be a lack of interest and intrigue. When two people love each other, the sex is natural and it feels great but when that connection is not strong enough it is natural that the sex suffers.

13 He feels less successful

Sometimes, one partner earns more than the other and is more successful but this does not take away from what the other person has achieved and is doing. It is important to make sure that you and your partner feel valued and happy. The moment one tries to take away from the other, the relationship will wane out.

12 Making him feel like a possession

It is natural for some people to be extremely protective and possessive which is great in moderation. However, there is a big difference in being protective and being overly-protective. This can make your partner feel trapped and claustrophobic which will only make them want to break free and escape.

11 Keep making an effort to look good

When you start to get comfortable in a relationship what tends to happen is that you slack into being comfy and lazy. You probably start to chill in your pj’s a lot more which is great but it is always nice to make an effort. So every once in a while, don’t be afraid to throw on something sexy and surprise your partner.

10 Don’t compare him to your ex

The moment you compare your current partner to your ex, you are completely de-meaning them and indirectly telling them that what you had before was a lot better than what you had now. Unless you truly feel that way in which case you’ve got other problems, this is something that can pull two people apart and spoil any chance of a new relationship.

9 Always moody

No one likes to be around people who are extremely moody and bratty (this only applies to those who do not have a mental disorder or a reason). When you are in a mature and loving relationship, mood swings and miscommunication can completely destroy a relationship. Try and be consistent and open with your partner and see what a difference it makes!

8 Being extremely feminist and one-sided

It is only natural for a woman to want to be defensive and hold her ground especially with all that is going on in the world but there is a huge difference between standing up for your own rights vs taking away someone else’s rights to do that. No matter what your beliefs and values are, it is advisable to keep communicating and working through any issues.

7 Keeping him pressed for money

Some people do this intentionally and some do this unintentionally. Putting pressure on your partner to earn more or spend more puts the person in a very stressful and unhappy place. If they are unable to earn what one partner expects the couple will run into a bunch of problems. It is much better to encourage each other and make the best out of every situation.

6 Intellectual incompatibility

This can happen to any two people and it is not always true that two people will be compatible. In a relationship, the two people involved are often looking for a meaningful, and sustainable relationship that they can count on. However, when the two partners are not on the same page, it can lead to complications. A difference in interests, hobbies, and lifestyle are also contributing factors.

Your relationship is not the same anymore

In the beginning of the relationship, it will feel as though you will never love anyone else and that whatever you have will last. That statement is true and untrue; no relationship will ever stay the same and time will ensure of that but a true relationship will be able to stand through time and evolve to adapt to different changes.

4 Let go of the past

The past is the past for a reason and it has no place in the future. As time goes on, people change and they will probably not make the same mistakes as before. The more you keep bringing back the past, the more you stop the relationship from moving forward and growing. There is nothing left in the past and if you see a future go ahead and if not, you will know what to do.

3 Don’t ever compare him to others

Nobody wants to be compared to other people and it is a mean way of telling a person that they are just not good enough unlike all the others. When two people start to compare each other to outside people, the relationship starts to take a very nasty turn. Don’t compare each other, we are all different and have our own unique qualities.

2 Loss of respect

This is one of the biggest reasons for two people no matter how close to separate and become extremely distant from one another. Mutual respect in a relationship is the very foundation on which the connection stands, the moment you lose respect for your partner you lose the relationship as well.

1 “Trying to fix him”

If you are constantly trying to advise him and guide him through his life, you will make him feel as though he is incapable of doing things on his own. There is no need to fix each other in a relationship but to love and support each other. Of course, giving advice and suggestions is encouraged but at the end of the day, your partner is equally capable of surviving! Make your partner feel loved and supported and things will work out.
